Beta Upsilon Chi – Brothers Under Christ (Known as BUCKS when it’s pronounced) is the social Christian fraternity on TCU’s campus. We exist to establish brotherhood and unity among college aged men based upon the common bond of Jesus Christ. We were founded on TCU’s campus in the Fall of 1989, and our chapter has around 90 members. Our philanthropy is Fortress Youth Development Center that is an after-school program for children that live in poverty-stricken areas in Fort Worth. Fortress serves the kids by providing a safe and educational environment for children from 18 months to 8th grade to go in the meantime before their parents pick them up once they get off of work. BYX has members that are involved all across campus in other aspects of Fraternity & Sorority Life, First year programs like Frog Camp, Connections and Frogs First, and other aspects of Religious and Spiritual life like Exodus and Ignite. Every fall we have an Island Party to give back to the TCU community for all the support that we are given. In the future we plan to continue our growth and promote guys to serve others across campus.
